Short-Term Milestones (by end of 2017)

Update Description

DOT will seek to secure additional federal funding for the Hunts Point Clean Truck initiative.

DOT completed Round 4 of the Hunts Point Clean Truck Program in 2017, which will add 102 clean trucks on the road by June 2018.  DOT is working to secure additional funding for the Clean Truck Program through the Volkswagen Diesel Settlement Trust to provide rebates for at least another 200 trucks, which will greatly enhance the scope of this project and expand the reach of the program for the benefit of other Industrial Business Zones or areas negatively impacted by diesel truck emissions.

Medium-Term Milestones (by end of 2021)

Update Description

DOT will expand to additional neighborhoods as funding becomes available.
