Maintain and enhance an employee culture of honesty, integrity, and inclusion

DOT will continue its commitment to public service and adherence by its employees to the agency’s Code of Conduct, Executive Orders regarding integrity, and the City’s Conflict of Interest Laws. Through training and awareness programs, we will continue to encourage employees to conduct themselves in an honest and ethical manner and to be respectful of the diverse perspectives and backgrounds that each DOT employee brings to the workplace.

DOT will continue to provide training and awareness programs to encourage a culture of honesty, integrity, and inclusion.

Ongoing

DOT continues to foster a culture of honesty and integrity through Equal Employment Opportunity trainings that reached over 500 employees in Fiscal year 2017. DOT’s entire Fleet division completed discrimination and bias in the workplace training this year. Additionally, in keeping with our commitment to diversity and inclusion, approximately 500 DOT staff members have received transgender rights training. DOT also fosters honesty, integrity and inclusion through the HR 101 staff training program and by hosting trainings by the City's Conflict of Interest Board.
